Blessed in Bali and Lombok

Gosh, I just got back to reality. I missed Bali and I missed Lombok. These places are too awesome and incomparable. There’s a lot to blog. Confuse on where to start. A lot happen, ranging from funny to angry, will try to spur out to this blog and hope I can keep this trip as a remembrance.

I should share about our itinerary first.

Day 1 – Reach Bali at night and went to dinner

Day 2 – Visit Monkey forest, Kintamani, tanah lot and Kuta.

Day 3 – Kuta (again), Denpasar and flight to Lombok in the evening.

Day 4 – Visit Kuta beach Lombok, Senggigih and dinner at happy café.

Day 5 – A trip to pure Gili island

Day 6 – bye bye Lombok, back to Bali and touring around Kuta (again)

Day 7 – Hi Singapore, back to real life!

Some things I learn in this trip:

Fun is considered Fun if you travel with the right people.

Indonesia is a beautiful country

Will share more in due course.

Pre-Bali Part 2

Still about pre-Bali topic, I had a nightmare like two days ago. Not that serious one or maybe just a bad dream.

I told honeypot about it and the dream goes like this:

I was in the airport checking in myself at the counter and when the staff ask my passport, I FORGOT TO BRING! Then I woke up.

Then I ask honeypot do you ever had a nightmare? He says yes and it happen on the same night that I had the above dream.

He say he dreamt that I (diarydrops) forgot to bring my passport to the airport for check-in and HE NEEDS TO FORCEFULLY GO BACK AND GET MY PASSPORT!

I was like ... You BLUFF!

And we had a good laugh after that.

OK, I really hope that I don't left anything behind that is used for this trip. Now still packing my luggages and I am still hoping Wednesday will come faster.

Pre-Bali

In two days times I am going to Bali and Lombok. Now I feel lazy and keep thinking about the trip.

Me and honeypot are not travelling alone but we will be meeting Chris, Git and Git's GF there. So this is not a honeymoon trip haha but guess going back to Bali is so wonderfully feel.

How we derive to go for this trip was, apparently, Chris, a Malaysian wants to visit Bali and Git, who live in Lombok invited him to go Lombok as well. Git and Honeypot actually made a promise to each other on year 2008 honeypot will visit Lombok but sadly the promise never got fulfilled and only now they claim this promise. A bit of lame story right but that's got us to Bali and Lombok. Chris, Git and honeypot known each other at Hope Kuching.

We plan this trip as early as March 2011. Bought the ticket on September 2011. Through out the planning period, me and honeypot had change our jobs so you can see how we tough we got our leave approved for this trip.

I bought Jetstar return ticket to Bali from SG @ SGD 112 without baggage and @ SGD 142 with the baggage. For 2 pax, we spent SGD254 for the flight ticket alone. It was a good bargain I believe thinking that Bali is further than Jakarta and it consider as long flight of 2hours plus for me. How I got this price of flight ticket? It was a blessing, sometime in September 2011, Jetstar gave an offer at the exact departure date that I want. the day before, in between and after was no discount. Amazing right!

Hmm how I hope now Wednesday will come faster =D

Logos Hope

Logos Hope, the missionary ship that sells books had visited Singapore. I can't provided the exact details as this vessel will sail away from Singapore to somewhere tomorrow (i.e my today in this sentence means 29 December 2011). If you miss it, well maybe wait for the next round.

I know about Logos Hope visit through friend's website, here and here . Need to give them credit else I never visit this vessel :D

I was the last day of it's open house period when I visited. After work at around 6.30pm, I reach Vivo and tried to find the vessel location. Quite easy to find though, just proceed to Sentosa broadway direction and sure we can see it.

So I went up and begin my exploration. There were lots of books, like a huge library but with price tag :D. 100 unit = SGD 4. The currency is in unit. While I wander inside, I never felt anything but a stable ground, until i finaly realize that "hey myself, you are inside a ship!" To my amaze, the vessel is so firm like you are standing on the ground. When I look down, the wooden flooring below were so catchy and nice.

I browse through the Women section like devotional for women, pregnancy, cooking, wellness etc. Skip the children and guy section. But all these section was crowded with people erm.. I mean women. I walk further up till reaching the end and approaching the cashier line and stood back, it is the end already? So I walk back to the starting section. I notice that while most of the people walk following the flow but I reverse from the flow. Ok, not important :D

So I went back to those women's section, browse more diligently for the books that I want. Due to the huge quantity of books, I was lost to what to find, so I spend some times reading the synopsis of books on their back cover and finally I found 2 books. They are from same author some more.

So I proceed to the cashier and the staff that serve me saw the books I intended to purchase, was a westerner with a pair of delighted eyes and a big smile. She then said " hmm good choices that you have made, dear". It calm my heart thinking: hey you have made the right purchase hahaha but soon I realize, too early to assume that, go read the books before judging. Oh ya, the book cost 200units, which means SGD 8 / book. The books are about 30-day devotional for women. There are prayers and questions inside the books, will share when I finished reading yeah!

Then proceed to the exit, and passed by the little story pathway, the Logos cafeteria and the board full of post-it note. It was called the "Comments about Life X-perince" There were interesting pieces all together!

Next, on exit, the staircase where extremely unique. It seems very slippery kind of stairs but it was not unless you are wearing heels :D

After exit, bid the ship goodbye (like I literary do, don't believe me k), I wander around Vivo and wanted to go daiso. I always lost in Vivo mall even though I came here once a week. Poor me! So I walk from the outer part of sky terrace to go to Daiso and look what I found...

The huge Christmas tree my colleagues always rave about. Finally have the chance to take a snapshot of its existence after Christmas. Trust me, I no fond of Christmas tree for year 2011. Some other year I do. I manage to snap its full the reflection on the water because I stand quite far from that huge statue. It was more to called as a statue rather than a tree right since it don't have any tree roots?

Pasta Celebration

December 1 was honeypot birthday. We didn't do much celebration since he is ok not to have celebration nor present hahaha, but he was craving for pasta.

Being a kind wife, I treat him pasta not only once but twice to kill his craving, but now he crave for more oh my!

First one we had at this casual dining resto at Bishan called Ambush. I ordered a sausage rosti instead of pasta while honeypot had beef bolognese pasta. (hope I spell right) The food is nice, is just a bit costly, it was around 30+ for two main dish and FOC ice water. After that we had Gong Cha!

The next one was at small resto at 313 called Tomato. We ordered the 3 types pasta that comes with pasta, pork chop, chicken chop and sausage. It was about 13+ if not mistaken and is quite worth it. I love the meal and will go back to have it again someday.

New Hair cut

I got new haircut early December. I bought a Groupon voucher for it. It was only $11 for wash, cut and blow. The salon situated around Bugis area.

The hairdresser was a young man, Singaporean and he look inexperience. He ask me how much centimetre I want to cut and what is the model I am foreseeing. Lucky he meet a systematic girl like me **shy** who knows what to expect for the result and don't mind so much since I pay only $11. I patiently guided him centimetre by centimetre how both of us can reach the end result. Omg, sounds so wrong :p

I cut the same hairstyle on May 2011, that's why I know what I want already...

After the haircut, I proceed to Jen's house for SHE activity by my church. We were divided into group of two, one doing make-up and one doing cookies baking. I join the cookies baking lead by Mel and Inne and awesomely we bake cookies!!

Nobody notice I just cut my hair though, sad enough right. We make name prints on the cookie, I tried to make may name but not enough space so just make "Fin" and with a bird. Hope you can see it clearly from picture below:

Christmas Celebration

How is your Christmas celebration? It must be a good one :D

Let me share mine ya...

My first Christmas present is from my company gift exchange event. We were given a budget of $10 and we draw a colleague name as our Angel and bought gift to them. There were also Christmas party after that in which was quite boring I should say but it has nice dessert spread.

My lovely honeypot gave me an Ipad!!

This shot was after applying the screen protector, I applied it myself so you still can see some bubbles on the screen. Now no more bubbles on my ipad screen I also don't know why, anyway, that's better.

I received presents from my church mate also, and there is one gift that I treasure most, I will share later on next post (hopefully)

Scarf--ting

If you notice, in South-East Asia, typically in Indonesia, Malaysia or Singapore, we seldom have the scarf-ting trend here due to our hot and warm weather.

Here are my ideas when we can wear scarf:

1. In the office/ cinema/ church

Heaps of yes, why places with air-con are cold and we are shivering? Especially in offices, a jacket / cardigan is not enough. Grab a scarf and wrap around to keep you warm.

2. Riding a motorbike

Yes, if you are in Indonesia riding a motorbike. The dust on the street are thick and you need to wear a mask. But motor mask are thick and uncomfortable. You cant even breath properly. Scarf on the other hand are made of cotton and comfortable. And they are long enough not only covering your nose and mouth but also down to your neck to shade from the sunlight. So grab a scarf darlings!

3. Nice, windy places.

Example will be at the beach, swimming pool, high open air places. Reason, scarf can be use as photo-taking accessory. =D How brilliant right? Fed up with the peace or fingers on face poses, grab a scarf and wind it, and gosh it looks amazing!

Lie to me drama

[Korean Drama Update]

Recently I watched “Lie To Me” for Korean drama. Nice, romantic, funny and so typical K-Drama hehhee. I suggested Ly to watch too and she also got hooked with it. Ocha who intro me to watch this drama. I will ask her again after finish this one.

I don’t know the name of the actor nor actress that act in this drama, but the main actress lead plays in coffee prince and gong.

High School Gathering

It’s been a while since my last entry. I might have again lost the mood to blog. Few things had change recently to my life and people around me **wink**. I got to know that lots of my high school classmate has gotten married and some of them are even had become father and mother. Times flies so fast!

I went to Kuching on last week of October to attend lil’bet graduation. Met up with my high school mates. Imagine you’ve never seen them in 10 years and they just look the same hahaha only with some extra wrinkles. We really don’t change a lot though, but our experience in life just gotten more and we now understand way better the value of friendship.

Why I say that? We had 5 hours of reunion and we just cannot stop talking to each other. There were no pulse no quiet moment. We update everyone about our life, our family, careers and daily doings. We also talk about other classmates we happen to meet by chance or from FB. We ordered like 3-4 cups of drinks and went to toilet like 3-4 times but we just couldn’t get to end our talks.

Until Liong need to catch a flight at 7pm, literary then we stop our chat time. We were like bidding each other goodbye in sad faces, keep saying “glad to meet u again, thanks for coming, upload the photos, keep in touch, please have this kind of gathering soon, etc.” Oh we just need to get this kind of gathering more often.

Biggest Challenge

To me, so far, the biggest challenge in your work is not about making mistake and your boss scold at you, or, being wrongly accuse by something you did not do, or, receiving complaints from people. Because you can refine your work and make lesser mistake, and explain that you are not the one, and learn to be more ignorance towards complain.

The biggest is, when you have a GREAT manager and you are giving him a resignation letter. You just feel so bad and sad. And when no matter how hard he convinces and you still choose to move on. That’s when you know you are actually worthy to the organization.

I had faced this today and I give thanks to God for His promises, with Him I had passed another biggest challenge in my work and found that I am indeed worthy.

Bali Honeymoon 2010

Last night, I think honeypot had insomnia and he uploaded our wedding and honeymoon pictures to FB. He put it like some sort of photo leakage but how to become a photo leak when he himself upload it.

Duh…

Yesterday is our first anniversary as a married couple. You may want to ask how we celebrate it. We were at home sick – vomiting and diarrhea due to gastric pain. Believe me, this is true!

Looking back at or Bali honeymoon pictures, I cannot recall have I blog about it yet? Anyway, here I am blogging bout it again. I miss Bali much =D

Our Villa

We booked a one-bedroom villa with private Jacuzzi from an Indonesian travel agent. We were like tired a sourcing the villa ourselves and just took whatever recommendation from the travel agent. Turn out, it was a great villa but also a bit expensive though. It was about SGD150 per night and we stayed for 3 nights.

Once we reach the villa, the receptionist was asking “are you guys on honeymoon?” and we answered yes, then they asked us to wait like 1-hour and present us the “one-bedroom villa with private pool”. It was bigger than the one we booked and it worth the 150SGD price tag. They took 1-hour to clean the room, switched on the air-con for us, when we got inside the villa, it was cleaned and cooled.

Here is the bed, the bath and the pool inside our villa.

Below are also the surrounding of the villa, I found a tree that produce the flower in which Balinese likes to wear on the ear. We have like 4 trees of this kind inside our villa.

And this is the door to enter the presidential villa or something. The most expensive type of villa they have. I think it consist of more than 1 bed-room, maybe like three inside there. Anyway it’s a huge door.

On our 3^rd day, we requested breakfast in the villa. Early morning, the cook come to our villa and make us breakfast. After open the door for the cook to come in, we go back to sleep and half an hour later, the breakfast is ready. A nice combination coz we have bacons, scrambled egg, toast bread, fruits, doughnut, cereal, milk and orange juice.

The Food

Seafood dinner at Jimbaran was awesome! I paid about 300k rupiah which is about SGD45 for plates of crab, squid and prawn. All the seafood is so fresh, no fishy smell and this comes with 2 drinks for each diner, free flow of rice and 2 portion of Bali’s vegetable. I finished most of the seafood, since I am seafood lover and honeypot finished the vegetable and rice coz he is rice and vege lover. Sorry no picture coz he never upload to FB!

And we also tried the “Ayam Betutu”. It was very spicy chicken. They have it in fried and with gravy form, so we tried both. Honeypot also tried the “Nasi Campur Bali” which is “Bali Mix Rice” and all meals comes with Bali’s Vegetable, consist of kangkong and nuts and sambal.

Look how happy he was to have it. And the chicken is really max spicy!

We were planning to try on the famous “babi guling” as well but no time coz the famous and delicious one was quite far from where we stayed. Next round of Bali and sure we will have it.

The Bali Tour

We don’t have much touring around Bali, coz we were on honeymoon and we had a hilarious big pool private villa. What do you think we are doing hahahaha… We were swimming, eating, swim again and bought some dvd from the really cheap dvd shop and sleep in our huge bedroom =D

We went to Uluwatu, some sort of waterfall besides the sea. It is very nice scene, full or tourist and full of monkeys. And the monkeys are really naughty monkeys, it will steal your glasses if you wear one, steal whatever it can grab with its tiny hands.

Our driver gave us a rock each and asked us to throw to the monkeys if happen one of them come and steal our things. That’s why each of our Uluwatu pictures is with rocks on our hand.

The Bomb Monument

We were seeking this monument up and down. It was not hard to find but because the road is a one way road, we always missed it and just passed by. Honeypot was so eager to find this monument. As usual he likes historical things. And only the last night in Bali we manage to find this monument. We started asking the direction from hotel staff to passer-by and to roadside seller. Finally, we found the monument.

We also went to GWK, I forgot the long pronunciation for GWK. And now just let the picture speak for itself.

The unique findings

It was at the last day of our honeymoon trip and we want to buy something special for remembrance. Honeypot had already noticed this when we passed by this shop that do crafting so we stop by and have a chat with the seller. We asked for a custom made crafting to the “snowboard” / “waterboard” (I don’t know what we should call it) and the crafter agreed to craft for us. He is very talented in crafting by the way. Recommended as talented crafted in Indonesia.

Wedding Card

I Love to receive cards! Especially those handmade one. I can feel the effort of a person whom made even it was just a simple writing. I treasure them, maybe because of this, I treasure effort too =D.

I tried to make cards for friends, for Christmas, birthdays or any special occasion (If time permit).

Sometimes the card that I make looks ugly, in the end I just throw them away. And last night, I manage to make a wedding card!

Surprised friend come to visit!

It’s been a while that I wrote in this blog, and this blog is barely awake.

Oh September, you finally come. A year ago, I was singled and finally get hitched and now, time to celebrate the 1st anniversary of our marriage life. I will write about this further.

Early of the month, we had Fong and San wedding day. It started at 10am, a little bit early then usual ceremony. Thought that we will be late, grab a cab and off we go to Mariott Hotel. YS was giving the exhortation and the first question that she ask to those who presence was – How many of you know how Fong and San meet and started their love journey, wave at me.

Not much of the people wave at her, maybe they don’t bother or they really don’t know. I was one of the people whom wave at her, even I know she did not saw me and is just a way YS use to start her exhortation, but deep inside me, somehow I felt joyful. I am one of their true witnesses that presence in their big day. I suddenly remembered the expression of Fong’s faced when he first speak up in our group that he is wooing a girl and how he bought flower and surprised her. And that’s I think about 2 years ago.

Another moment that touched my heart again was the bride’s speech to her family. I had my little tears drops, and I saw the father’s of the bride having big tears dropping. Is not that we were sad or something, it is just, her speech is awesomely simple and yet touching. That’s the point.

Another surprised for me is to see my good friend whom had left SG for good, joining this wedding. This is her:

The Nervous Worm

I am very nervous now. Tonight at 9.30pm, I am going to chair a meeting. I will be in the role of presenter and a chairperson, that's mean I am going to talk from start to the end. This is my first time.

One thing is, the meeting is done virtually, you can just rely on your voice to make the meeting lively and interactively, in which makes me nervous now.

I always join the meeting as a participant, where even I get to talk, is just a small input, but tonight, I will be like 90% contributors of the talks and I am so nervous now.

Now I can feel why my colleague will scream after the same meeting ended when he was the chairperson. I think this is how he feels also during the daylight.

I hate this feeling :(

Boys Over Flower Drama

It takes me back to early year 2010, a colleague from my previous company, she is an accountant and she extremely idolizes this drama. Every day during our lunch time, without fail, she will share with us last night sequel. And soon she bought the original DVD for her keepsake. Even in the middle of our lunch, when she think about “Gyu Jun Pyo” the main actor, she will laugh and we were like -.-"'

Back to my subject, yes, I am watching this Korean drama Boys over Flower. This drama series is a successor of Taiwanese idol drama “Meteor Garden” and Japanese “Hana Yori Dango”. True enough I agree that the Korean version is better. They got a mature storyline, good pace and most important, the heavenly handsome F4.

And this drama series is so so so so ROMANTIC. Oh gosh it really keeps me fantasize about romantic things a guy can do to a girl. And I really never ever want to mentioned ~~my husband is a reality, won’t do such a romance.~~

While I was watching this drama, some of the romantic scene will leave me with shining eyes and a smile on my face. And when my realistic husband saw me, he will come near and touch my face, then shake while saying “eh eh eh wake up honey, it only happen in the movie”

Talking about “Gyu Jun Pyo” the actor lead, he is wonderfully handsome and a romantic guy. Again is only happening in the drama, I do not know about real life ya. The character is totally the same like “Tao Ming She” who is ignorance and childish but somehow able control his emotion and fight with his mom.

I recommend everyone to watch this show. Since this is the successor of the Taiwanese version, it really has good storyboard and scripting and the logic is there.

Curling Hair Without Curling Iron

On first week of June, we went to KL and attended a friend wedding solemnization and lunch reception. Is a friend from Hope Serdang. Since is reception, I was wanting to do something special to my hair. I have a long, dull, boring hair and if I don't style it, I really look plain.

So before the day, I googled up on how to do hair styling. Tried a few for straight hair and were not successful. So I came across a few blog that show this style: curling hair without curling iron and they done it kinda successful.

So I chosen this style and lazy me, never tried in before the event day came, I just trust my gut that it will be successful.

So when we reach the hotel, I quickly tied up my hair and do as what I think is necessary. And as the blog says, you need to sleep with the hair tied up, I barely have enough sleep due to the constraint that I feel on my head. It just feel so not comfortable. But beauty to a women beats all un-comfortableness.

Picture below shows what I did, basically the steps are:
1. Divide your hair to 2 parts, twist it and cuddle it up like a bun.
2. Tied it with extra strong rubber band
3. Sleep with it

If you notice the "1st step" picture, I really don't know how to take picture using my i-phone camera. Until the next morning, in which it shows in the "outcome" picture, I manage to learn to capture my picture correctly.

Whether it successful or not, I let you define it, but to me is half-successful. The curl look natural and big wavy. I quickly secure it with hair wax and off we go to the party.

This is the morning after I untied and style my hair.

Subsequently, it can't hold till the end of the day. Only lasted for about 3-hours, my hair slowly turn straight. I keep twisting my hair during the reception just to make it look curly during the photo shoot with the groom and bride. After that, my hand is tired and I just leave it as it is.

Anyway is consider as satisfying coz I have tried it and it do look fabulous at first hours. I still have upcoming wedding party and I do still want to curl my hair to get away from my boring dull long hair.

Till then, I may consider buying an iron curl or cut my hair??!!??

lovin' of sweet corn

People that know me closed enough knows that one of my favorite food is sweet corn. Don't get it wrong, is not the sweet corn in acup thing but real sweet corn like below:

My mum knows exactly my favorite corn. Every month, she will definitely boiled once and served it to me. Even if my elder sis not at home but she knew I am at home and she will asked me whether I want to eat or not. I was like "ma you really got buy ahhh" "I want I want" and then she will boiled. Becoz in our family, only me and my mum likes to eat sweet corn. Ok not important.

Below here another fruits that me and my mum likes. It is hard to obtain and I don't know how to call it in English. In Indo it called "Sawo". I was quite suprised when she got this fruits, courtesy to our neighbour that do not know how to eat this fruit and gave it to us. First thing when I reached home, mum told me "you got buah sawo to eat ^^!!!"

My point of writing is I cherish that me and my mum have common food that we both likes and I love my mum :D

Gaining in meatball lunch

Every Tuesday, Ikea restaurant have the Meatball day promo. 10pcs set at $4 and 15pcs set at $8. It is better to buy 2 set of the 10pcs set if you want to eat more than 10 coz is $8 for 20pcs.

Hope you get my calculation right.

So I ordered 10pcs set:

Delicious as before but notice they never give the green vege that is always on top of the jam. Maybe due to the promo rush they skipped it.

The resto was super crowded and long Q. We went there at 11.30am to skip the queue and chopping place for late-comers colleague that stuck on the meetings.

I also ordered the grilled chicken wing @ $2.80 for 2pcs. Shared with my colleague so I paid $1.40 only. Sorry below picture a bit blurred coz too hungry and my hand was shaking.

And the ultimate GAIN of this lunch. Here is the story:

There were 3 of us ordering for 7 ppl. We were like very rushing and in the state of cannot-think-and-act-fast mode in the Q line. The staff there were hurrying us so fast and some of our orders was not taken and we need to repeat again several time to different staff. I don't know how to paint you the picture of our doings. It was rushing and complicated. And when come to the cashier line, I volunteered to pay for all first to salvage the complicated calculation of dividing the cash of 3 ppl and later 7 ppl. It was totaling about $25++.

So I paid the cashier and upon giving me the receipt, the cashier said I was entitled for $5 voucher, it expires on 31-May which is that day and need to be redeemed by buying Ikea products. I was entitled because the purchase was exceeded $20??(Sorry I didn't confirm, I am guessing here)

Then I shared with my colleague about this $5 voucher and they were so excited. And we agreed to purchase the $4.90 worth of 17-piece container set.

We quickly grab the 17-pcs container set and paid with the voucher and we divided among 7 of us. It containes 4-Big ones, 4 Medium ones and 9-Small ones. Very fast we came into the agreement that whoever wants the big one only can get 2 (1-big + 1-Medium/small) and whoever get the medium can get 3 in total. So I got the 1-Medium + 2-small:

The picture above may project that the container were big but they are very small only. The top one is like you can only put a handful of cotton pad only so don't let the picture deceive you ya. I use I-phone apps again to color the container where the background is grey-ish.

I think now no more free voucher coz is May promotion.

After all is a gain from having the meatball lunch and we now have extra container to use :D

In search for new moisturizer

I need a new brand of Moisturizer!!!

My current one (l'oreal), is finishing. Indeed it had finished and I had washed the container to put something else hummp...

I got a Ginvera sample, introduce by my elder sis to "like" their FB page and within 5 days they sent me the sample. I had tried and not kinda like it coz is abit oily even it says "for all skin type". If you want to try the sample, please do a search on FB but only for local SG.

If you don't know what is moisturizer, definitely you are a guy :D. It is a cream like that protect our face from dryness and it can also whiten/ firming the face like what the commercials are claiming but don't trust so much. Always look for the * sign and read the fine prints.

I have tried so many brands but none of them can satisfy me. I keep changing after I finish them. From Clinic, Loreal, Olay, clarins, za, johnson2, shisedo etc... And some brands are expensive. I don't mind paying higher but the result if it is the same like the normal price then speechless. Better get the normal price and save $$$.

I am still hunting and now since the last one had finished, I am now using all the samples that I have and I even ask my sis to pass me all her samples until I can find a suitable one again.

Lesson to learn, keep all the samples for rainy day use.

Movie review: 4 thumbs up (I borrowed honeypot's thumbs even he haven't watch it)

One morale of this movie that somehow I learn is that the Ninja Warriors are having awesome teamwork. How should I put it, like they will help each other up kind of thing, is really hard to describe but this is what I learn from the movie. If you have not watch please watch coz it is awesome creation by dreamworks.

And just ask you some random question, do you download the apps in I-phone call Leme-Leme cam? I've download it since its name is Lomo-Lomo but now became Leme-leme, I also dont know why. Ok this app is magic, but nothing is magic. Hmmm I should call it briliant maybe but a bit too much... ok call it good-must-have apps. Coz it can turn a normal picture to be a classical picture and turn a beautiful women like me to be more beautiful hahaha...

I feel my face change a bit. Somehow this apps turn my faces fairer... btw if you find my face keep changing it is normal coz I got this common face with me. I don't know how to explain to you but a lot of ppl say I looked like someone that they know, either their sisters, friends, cousins, relatives or celebrities or whoever. I just feel is a blessing that God gave me a pair of big eye, even not very big but compare to other Asian mine is consider big ahhaha... and recently a colleague of mine told me that my face have 2 genes. From my upper-nose to above I got the westerner genes and from lower-nose to below I got the Asian genes and I really don't know what to say... hahahhaha anyway my face is really a common face I am glad that I am me :D

OK time to work and looking forward to Friday coz I am going to KL!!!

Pizza Dinner

Last Sunday, after lazing and sleeping till 6pm, me and honeypot decided to have Pizza Hut for dinner. We were like thinking about eating pizza since early May and here we are.

We do not have a craving or what and in fact dining in Pizza Hut seems expensive to us becoz we are not pizza lover :p

We actually have a free regular pizza coupon from my Insurance Agent. My agent hit the sales quota for last year and she herself went to Athens, Greece in exchange for her hard work and me as one of her client got little splash of blessing. We got a free regular pizza from Pizza Hut. Is my 3rd time already, last two year, I also got Pizza Hut, then last year got Pastamania 1 set meal and this year they change back to Pizza Hut.

Ok enough of the intro, now lets come to the mouth-watering part:

Hawaiian Pizza

We always love this Pizza type, no wonder it got the "all-time-favourite" title. And yes this is our free Pizza.

You see, is really by default that dining in Pizza Hut, I will always order the...

Grill Chicken Wing:

Look how yummy, juicy and mouth-watering of that. And when we divided 3pcs for each is never enough :p

Then honeypot says he want to drink coke and he have the craving... I was omg, please dehhh! I keep saying no to him and say they give free cold water, why u need to drink coke?? and we buy outside is even cheaper!!! But you know how I love him very very deeply hahaha please dont turn away or sigh :p so to accomodate his craving we ordered the Pizza Hut anniversary promotion meal.

Chicken Grill comes with Soup of the day and a glass of Pepsi Cola:

The chicken is too thick and overall, acceptable. We should choose the pasta coz we saw other table having the pasta look good to consume. Anyway, cannot finish the Pizza so we pack and have as supper hahhaha.. maybe too much sleep makes us full :D

Sausage Prata

Talking about my invisible-coming-to-have recipe book, recently I made honeypot a Prata Sausage. I come to realise that I am good in cooking unhealthy, fried and oily food. These are indeed my skill in cooking. I longth to cook something healthy, good and delicious for honeypot but the time will come soon after I got my own kitchen in our own house. But right now I just too lazy to cook due to various reason, one of them is no time and lazy hahahha...

So here my masterpiece in cooking: Sausage Prata

Ba..na..na..na..na..na.. (Tune it with lady Gaga song)

Here are the ingredients:

1. Canai/prata skin is ready made FairPrice brand, heat it up.

2. You need the skill to fried this half scrambled egg and I DID IT!!!

3. Sausages and fried beef cornet with chopped long-bean and flour.

4. Cabbage.

The cabbage can be eaten raw but I soak it with ready boiled water for 3mins just to make it softer.

And...

Lay the skin and egg then cabbage. Between the skin and egg, egg and cabbage, you can spread chillie/ tomato sauce. Sprinkle a pinch salt and pepper on top and lay the sausages.

Next roll/wrap them like a wrap (what m I typing, hope you know what I mean) and eat while it hot.

Honeypot says delicious and that's what matter the most :D

Appreciation Lunch

Yesterday during LG, we were requested to share about happy things that happens in these two weeks. Everyone shared about their own, and some meaningful sharing were shared by acupofmilk and honeypot.

I will shared about honeypot's one some other day and for acupofmilk, I guess most of our friends already known that he had proposed to his GF and when he told us the process, how nervous he was and how happy wen was when she received the suprised. It was a happy momentum to hear that they have made it to this progression in their relationship and I believe the best is yet to come.

Ok, I will then shared mine. I was invited to the appreciation lunch buffet in Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel from my company. There rest of the entries here will be about food that I took during the buffet. It is like a review kind of things and I am first time blogging about this I guess, unless I forget...

We were the last group to arrive due to some arrangements and meetings and we were like only left 1 hour 15 minutes to enjoy the buffet.

My first plate or me call it my first round:

I had it labelled if you can see on the picture. Everything were delicious except for the fried chicken, coz it is a normal dish hahaha I shouldn't had taken it coz my mum can fried better of this. The mussels if fresh and I love the fried yam and Fried sago wrap. I wonder how to make the white wrap on the sago wrap, is kind like a bihun things. I am interested to learn to make though.

Second plate:

It took me about 15 mins to finish my 1st plate, kind like full already but it doesnt stop me to get more from the buffet. Mussels and prawns tasted fresher from the first place. There was steak, I requested for well done but the staff says when it is well done, it will be hard to chew so stays at medium done but I am no fond of steak, so can't say much on this. Paiti, peranakan food. It is self-made, they prepared the ingredients and you can fill the cup by yourself. Ingredients like turnip, small prawns, sambal etc. Again can't say much and I only like the paiti's crispy cup. And the best of all, the crab stick, juicy and crunchy, love it max.

Third plate (Dessert):

It had full range of dessert, you just need to ensure your stomach can handle it hahahaa.... there where bubur cha cha, chng teng but not my liking so took the above. The durian Penget taste like real durian, it was so aromatic, sweet and because of this, I am loaded and can't taste many more. Fruit tarts were my favourite, everyone else like took 1 or 2 but I took three hahaha greedy me. The rest were just normal and it really makes me too full to continue.

Fourth plate:

Hahaha maybe reading till this you may wonder: DiaryDrops I thought you mentioned too full to continue?? OK but who can resist chocolate fondue????!! I sticked up the 3 grapes and smear it with the chocolate fondue thinghy. Some my collegue took some marshmallow (hope I spell right), but I didn't or I will increase my sugar fat -.-". The honeydew is for my collegue coz she wanted watermelon but it was finish so I took honeydew for her and was tasteless, but she believe not to waste food and finish it up.

Fifth Plate:

Whatt!!! Fifth plate... hahahah yeah, me and the same collegue who took the honeydew took more fresh prawns with lemon, coz we are the fans of prawns. I took 2 more and she took 3 more coz I am also controlling my cholestrol so pardon me sometimes I can't resist on prawns.

Ok now about 10 minutes before we was served with the tea, I was thinking on the last plate, and my collegue was also think the same. She then took the raw sashimi, which me never like and I took this:

Sixth plate:

The best of all!!! The fried yam and crab. Ok admit I am big eater (sometimes!!) The tongyam sauce is the thing that make it nice... ohh love it and I am interested to learn how to cook the sauce as well. Let me jot down to my invisible-coming-to-have recipe book.

Some food items that I missed in the buffet like:

- Peranakan food - braised duck, chicken, rice, noodle

- International - Fried rice, vege, soup

- Fresh seafood - Crab

- Penang asam laksa

- Hot dessert

- Cold salad bar

- Sashimi and cold noodle

This hotel offer quite a big range of food line for the lunch buffet. They have promotion I forget how it goes, if you interested, please find more info. Overall, nice food but please prepare a big unloaded stomach!!!

Btw I gather another fact about newly wed couple and I am very eager to share to you.

#Fact: Newly wed couples are likely to put on weight.

Is true ok, coz me and honeypot experience it. And I met Ert my ex-collegue and she also a newly wed couple. Her wedding was last year Dec and she put on weight and same goes to her hubby.

Ok, just imagine this, during honeymoon what we do was feast and sleep and feast. Back to Singapore, while enjoying our time as newly pronouns: husband and wife, we just don't care about anything else. The world is like belong to two of us and we just feast on the weekend. We were like having Aston every weekend. Ok hope you get my imaginery visual.

Sugar Fat update

I manage to hold the temptation of sweet drinks last week. The whole weekdays, I only drink 1 Alisan Gong Cha with 70%(or 80%?? forget -.-") sugar during lunch time. Until a collegue of mine also feel weird on my sweet drinks intake, and ask am I having diabetic (hope I spell right!) ?

My family gen does have diabetic too but I dont know I have or not but maybe is good to check now. But the reason why I am taking less sweet drink because I want to cut my sugar fat and also on weekend, I tends to drink more sweet drinks so on weekdays I need to cut it so it balance my body cycle... oh my I am my own doctor and I hope I can balanced it right.

I met my ex-collegue last Monday and we didnt meet like for half a year and she says I grew chubbier. And after that on the same day I met my lovely Joce and we didnt see each other like for 2-3 weeks and she also say I am chubbier. And everyday honeypot also always bully me and say I am chubbier but weird eeuyy I dont feel any chubbier at all. Please I need to have self-awareness and hope the environtment can help me through as well.

Now I realize I am not eating healthily also during lunch time. My lunch is very systematic lunch. I will eat Korean ramen, fried bee hoon, hor fun and ee mien only. You can analyse it were all fried stuff and somemore ramen full of preserve stuff.... so now I am planning to eat healthily...maybe subway everyday hahahaha... ok today I eat honey-fried chicken with rice with one egg and now vege. And the worst, today my egg intake is 2 eggs already coz in the morning I make my bread fill with fried egg.

The birthday celebrations

Since my living in Singapore, i have undergone 5 birthdays. This year is my fifth birthday that I celebrate in Singapore. As usual, cg mate will tend to celebrate or pull a surprised party for you.

My first year was kinda giving it a missed. Forgotten how it was, I just knew I got a VCD recorded with full bunch of ppl wishing me “happy birthday”. Yes that was awesome and till now, I can still replay whenever I wanted to see how young they are compared to today haha.

Second year was good, honeypot started to work here and he was the “In Charge” of my birthday. Yes I believe this is a purposely arrangement made becoz he is my boyfriend then. I received a wok/pan for cooking as birthday present. As I was going to move to a new place that can cook, cg mates agreed to this idea of a “wok-as-a-birthday-present” by honeypot. Due to the high number of guys in my cg previously, this draws up a conclusion that guys are practical. When I need to cook, I need a wok, that’s right!

Now, third year birthday again is a missed. It happens that my CG, has birthed and soon, changed leader. What I remember was eating at vivo’s rooftop, got a small cake and I actually requested my mates to bought me a study bible as my birthday present. As usual, sharing wishes and ok time to go home. Nothing special.

Now, up to the fourth birthday, I feel that birthday celebration was getting worse. Maybe because I am no more young and available, and cg mates are too tired to plan birthday celebration. Ok let me spelled out what I encounter.

First it was celebrated late from the day, and it was at the same time with CG. So after my birthday celebration, I feel too tired to even bath before sleep, it finish at around 11pm and I still need to work the next day.

Ppl was giving wishes, compliments and I received feedback(nor good not bad) too. What the @$@#%!!! One of them shared that I am a person that she feel too difficult to liaise with, means I am too difficult for her to go into and know me deeply. Yes, till date I have not forgotten this statement hahahhaa can feel how hatred I am. I just wonder, should birthday be giving feedback together with wishes? I don’t think so; it will spoil your mood. It should be a happy occasion rather than going-home-thinking-about-the-feedback. And why at the first place I need you to get into me, and I do find she is also difficult to know/liaise with, but I just take it as “different ppl different character” so just live with it!

Second thing, my leader was also giving me feedback, but I totally forgotten what he mean hahaha since I am not into whatever he say anymore so “left ear in, right ear out” for me. And they ask me to share my wishes too, so I happily shared my wishes and since it was late, I saw some of them yawning and giving me the look of “not interested” so just can’t continue my speech. And regarding the present, again, it really does disappoint me. I receive a notebook and post-it-note. It was to be used for my wedding planning time, in which is a bit too late as I already have my own diary to write. Anyway, the present was still at my cupboard looking for me to use them someday or maybe when I have daughter and she is getting married and I will let her use my “post-it-note”.

And next is the cake. “Greenish pandan pudding cake”. She claimed that I like the cake coz during one of the birthday, we also have this cake, and I said I like the cake. I think she either heard me wrongly or that is true, I am hard for her to get to know into deeply. But I think her decision is all based on assumption. I never claim that I liked the cake at the first place and I really dislike the colour and it freak me out, really. What I remember, I say the taste is not bad even it look not “promising” hahahhaha…

Anyway, I do blame them for not finding a right time to celebrate my birthday. To me is more like a forced birthday celebration coz if they did not celebrate, I will feel unhappy and feel being left out. Yeah, the damage is there, this was truly the worse birthday celebration than ppl forgetting my birthday hahahaha… ok I am so hatred, anyway life move on!

Now, due to the trauma of last year, I was not looking forward for my birthday celebration from my CG mate this year. In fact, I was going to schedule my trip to Pontianak fall on my birthday, but it can’t coz my birthday falls on Wednesday and I have no more leave day till that. But it turns out to be a jewel in the day. Maybe the trauma last year gives the impact of this year celebration turn to be jewel. It was on Wednesday, happens to be the exact day with CG. The CG was held at J-town, and of course I got the thinking, are they going to celebrate my birthday? Haha yes I am right. Suprising to see Ocha and Veve that can make it that day. Ocha is always busy with her work and Veve who always flies around... ohh lovely friends.

They planned a surprise birthday celebration with a cake from icing room. They deco the cake and gave to me. They wish me all sweet and lovely birthday wishes. And the famous one was “momongan/ babies soon”. And since it was the exact birthday, I got a free “martabak – a kind of waffle” from J-Town with 1 candle.

Each of them was to bring me a present and indicate why they bought me that present. It was all sweet and touchy. Feels want to cry. I believe it will be the celebration before we split to another CG again. I am so blessed by their effort. It is indeed the best birthday celebration I have with my CG mates. Kudos to all of them and I love them so much.

With this year celebration, and by ranting in this blog, I shall forgive and forget what had happen on my last year birthday. Life is full of suprises!!

Monday – 2 shots of Milo, 1 glass of sugarcane, a small cup of minute maid.

Tuesday – 2 shots of Milo, 1 glass of Alisan tea with milk on top

Wednesday – 1 shot of Milo, 1 glass of milk tea with small pearl

And carry on…

No wonder I gain fats every day. Sugar – risk of diabetes and many more sickness.

Please I need a cut in this but still loving the office’s Nescafe machine that produces Milo button >.<

Too much of Too little

I just wonder have you guys came across this? When we were dining in fast food restaurant e.g. KFC, McD, Burger king, in which we need to self-serve our own sauces. Example: Chili Sauce. If you are buying a set meal, how many portion of sauce will you take?

For me, I will take 2 portion of chili and 1 portion of tomato sauce. Not only that, I will fill each sauce’s container to the fullest max. Reason: I don’t want to return back and fill up if happens they finished while I am enjoying my meal. Ok the real situation is I can only finish 1 potion of chili and half-portion of tomato. Greedy me and ends up honeypot labeling me “not-environmental friendly” type.

So last Sunday I tried to be an-environmental-friendly lady, while having a Burger King set meal, I only took 1 portion of chili and tomato each. And I did not fill them to the max like I always did.

Outcome:

It is not enough. Ends up I need to go back and take and lucky there is no queue or else… (Will give black face to honeypot)

The royal wedding

The royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton is going to on 29 April this year. Nowadays, every news sites are talking about this event. And heard that even President Obama was not invited coz this is not an political but a family event. I was very into this news recently by reading gossip magazine about their story and told honeypot that “hey, Prince William is getting married”. He was like look at me and says “do you feel heartbroken about the news?” I was like “no, but I just wanted to read about their story, that’s all and I have you :p”. Then he was thinking that girls will be heartbroken to know that Prince William getting married. Hahaha yeah admit he is good looking and he got castles. He can be every girls dream man. That’s all.

Anyway, was reading Yahoo news and says both of them are able to be split.

If you notice, the stamp carries their faces are tear able. Again the designer of such stamps never considers the after effect. Funny though!

And do you read the news about Selina Jen? One of the SHE members, a Taiwanese girl band. She was being burn by fire during her movie taking. Happens that the setting was never set properly and there will have a fire explosion but the fire exploded too quickly and Selina was burnt by the explosion. She had a major burning on her body, about 30/40/50%, can’t remember and I think it is 3rd degree burning stage.

Heard that her wedding was postponed because of this accident and now she is under going recovery and trauma. She is so pitiful, her wedding was supposed to be 1st April and it was postponed. She share at her twitter, weibo or something that on that day (1st April) she was suppose to be a busy bride hugging her sisters and busy entertaining the guest and now her dream wedding need to be postpone.

What have I done?

I should have stay secret out my age, is supposed to be sensitive, but I don’t mind, coz I feel I am still young :D. Ok very very lame.

Easter Camp – April 2010

In the camp, I learn about lots of things and change my view in certain things. I met true friendship with some of my friends and started to hate some people in the group. I admit I am born hater, depends how I can control my feeling.

The trip supposed to be a relaxing trip but because of some stupid arrangement, making us to share a single bed for 2 people, spoilt the trip as we did not have proper sleeping and to sleep with cramps. Anyway, past experience don’t want to say more, now looking forward to the next Easter camp, hope it will be better.

Pre-wed photo

The pre-wed photo taking was a tiring experience, but the outcome was very good. Marvelous I should say. Till know, still receive compliment in my FB.

Wedding preparation

The hardest to describe this anyway, way too much to say. Overall can be sum as a tiring preparation. Anyway, once in a lifetime things so must include in this list.

Missed a flight.

It was a JKT-SG flight and together with my mum, we missed the flight due to the heaviest traffic jam of Jakarta city. Blame the poor transportation of Indonesia. The aftermath was, an extra of USD30 for each tickets and an extra night at Jakarta.

Wedding parties

I have 2 weddings, one a total DIY wedding, another, a total “event organizer” wedding. I have yet to blog about the two, giving myself the deadline that once I have blogged about it, I can change my blog title.

Husband

This is the most important in this list. I have husband of my own now. Someone I can rely on, hugging to sleep and share my life with.

In-laws

Yes, I have in-laws now. My new family member, an extra steps to build relationship with. Added to this list just to remind myself that I DO have new family member to take care.

Business trip

How I hate business trip during my time in ex company. The last one was KL and one thing good about business trip is extra pocket money of the month. They allocated $100 and fully covered transport fee per day. Being there for 3 days, I have an extra of $300 whereby just spent $100 for the trip itself. Now no more business trip, but got other benefit.

Rollerblade

Honeypot bought me roller blade and start rolling but still don’t find the enjoyment, but had found that is quite scary to fall down :D

Job hopper

I move to a company that was very stressful, quit and found myself in MNC. How interesting of this life can be.

Bali honeymoon

CG Change

At first, a bit of awkwardness due to new faces and characters. And now I so love my cg member more than my previous one. Previous one was like to high expectation from the leader itself, making no comfortless and can’t find the true colors of the members. It’s like very fake (disclaimer: it is not applied to all of the member that I like, only particularly applied to 2 members that I don’t like). What I feel is that they are fond of themselves and ok second thought, really sensitive to spelled everything here.

Now I have change from calling my husband from “Honeypot” to “Miku”, I still don’t feel quite fond of it. I made decision to call him “honeypot” back. Ohh my honeypot

Honeypot shared one secret to me last two days in which I thought it was quite funny and not-so-important to know. Share it with you guys. As honeypot name is “Andrew” but at Indo, his ex-classmate tends to pronouns as “Endru”, or since his nickname is An-an at home. So people call him “a-an” most of the time. So the secret is, until he was in secondary school, he then realized that his name is “Andrew” instead of “a-an”. Is it too late to realize though? Ok not important.

This morning, as usual, AMK mrt was crowded with ppl waiting for train. In front of me was a couple (husband & wife). Wife is pregnant and when the train came, all the ppl queuing was rushing and the husband, protecting the wife and at the end they never board the train, coz it was too pack. I was inside the train and standing at the front line of the train door, while waiting for it to close the door; I heard the wife was asking the husband why they don’t enter the train. The husband, explained-with a cute-soft-caring sound that it is dangerous for them. Just about the husband finish talking, the wife suddenly kisses him on the cheek. The husband was a bit shocked and the train door closed and train moved. Projecting the scene on my mind, while the train move, I thought of lots of things.

It may look weird, gross, yucky as they do it in a rushing situation but on the other hand, why the wife did that was because “while the husband was explaining, the husband look so tender, caring and loving” in the eye of the wife. Wife can’t stand it and without considering the situation, she kissed him. Love is blind!

Sometimes I realised that I also have the same feeling towards honeypot. When he was working for something and explaining or when I just looked at his eyes, feels like hugging him so much. Even yesterday, while I saw a couple (again!) at Vivo holding hands, I suddenly have the feeling of missing my husband. It was lunch time though.

What I am drawing in this post is that love is so wonderful and nice and yes, this kind of love is hard to earn, through ups and downs and ups and downs again. I wish readers to have the chance to taste the greatest wonderful love of the world!

Humanity extinct in me

This morning, a well-dressed-with-backpack-office-looking guy approached me while I was waiting for the company bus. He just mumbled out once he got my eye contact and said:

“Excuse me miss, do you have mobile phone? Can I borrow your phone for a call to my wife as I forgot to bring my phone out and that’s why I am borrowing your phone to ask my wife to bring it out for me.”

While he was talking (read: explaining), my mind was full of self-thinking to myself like:

“He wants to borrow my I-phone”
“What if he rans away as soon as his hand touches my phone”
“Doesn’t he have 10-cent to call home from public phone, after all, we are near to MRT station, and public phones are visible”
“Since he wants his wife to bring out means his house is near, can’t he just walk back”

Typing all out, I can’t believe human brain can think these much in a split second.

So without further ado, I just answered him “Sorry, not convenient to lent you my phone, maybe you want to borrow from somebody else, thanks”

He said nothing and turns to a guy in front of me. I saw him explaining and the guy in front of me took out his phone and dialled the number and passed the phone to him. He talks a while and gives phone back. Closed case, he is not-a-conman.

Mr. Nice Guy is using I-phone too.

He turns back to me and looked at me while put his both hands on his pant’s pockets like a guard but I avoided his eye contact by pretending to read my newspapers. Soon, saw my bus and I ran to it as fast as I could.

While he was explaining to Mr. Nice Guy, I notice his backpack has my company logo on it. So he could be my colleague.

Yes, I am feeling shameful.

Blessing from God

I was super happy today. My boss offered me as a permanent staff in second day of working. Gosh I can’t believe it! God is good and He really blesses me so much…

Yes, I joined as a contract staff. As a contract staff make not much diff compared to permanent staff. It just that not entitled to staff rate on all things. Same benefit like leaves and aws. So to me I am not particular of it. But now I feel good of the offer, coz I it is really unbelievable.

It’s God’s plan for me.

[D.I.Y] Love Petal + Cone

During our wedding at HortPark, I custom made our flower petals for tossing. It was all made from papers. The first reason why we used papers was because the venue forbids us using real flowers because it will stained the floor. Of course the alternative was to use silk flower petals.

As I was checking the price for silk petals, it turned out the cost of it was not cheap. It priced at $8 per packet of 100. Unless you have someone who have extra to let go but the colors may differ as their extra may not be the color you want.

So D.I.Y idea came into my mind. I made hundreds and hundreds of them. Miku and I do some testing and it works. We post the video of our testing in FB and friends said it look great. When the petals were tossed it have the love shape tossing down. I have picture for it to show you =D

See the love shape tossing down? To make it, yes it simple but the time and efforts needed is truly uncountable. I custom made one by one and just need a few seconds before they goes down to the aisle, wasted. But I don’t regrets because they really look extremely great in my wedding.

Memorable things in Year 2010

We had our mid-week gathering yesterday at Esplanade. Was asked about what were the memorable things/events happen in your life this year. I think this is very important as the year 2010 is going to end soon, it is time for reflection and how we can make it better when we welcome the new year of 2011.

Let me share some of the things/events that were meaningful, memorable and wonderful happens this year in my life:

1. My wedding with Miku =D.

Specifically, it was when we spend our time together from the wedding planning till we confess our wedding vows together, witness by our dear families, relatives and friends.

2. Honeymoon in Bali.

Bali is truly a wonderful place to visit. We were being upgraded to honeymoon suite during our stay in the villa. We went to dive and ate fresh seafood. It is truly unforgettable.

3. Miku and I resigned from our job.

December 2010 was the month. I truly enjoy how we spent our everyday together during the days we hunted job together and register our marriage at high commission of Malaysia.

Lots of happy, sad, joyful, hurt and bad things do happen as well but sometimes it just unable to resolve nor speak out as we are not perfect.

As we had just celebrated Jesus’ Birthday through Christmas Day, do remember this statement: If God is with us, tell me who can be against us.

So what are your memorable/unforgettable moments for year 2010?

The last month of the year was a holiday for me. I resigned from my previous employment. Long story but I never regret of what I have done. God is good. He is our provider. And another shocking thing to add was Miku, on the other hand; also resign from his previous employment. So on the first two week of December, both of us are having holidays at home. We hunted new job together and support each other when there were interviews.

God is good. He is our provider. Soon enough, Miku had his job and he started the new job already. He EP was approved in a day time. For me, I have found job as well and will be starting to work on January. I was again, been blessed by God, and got a good company to work with. Now I am assured by God’s plan for us who in Him we trust and we are being guided always.

During our holiday, we managed to register our marriage in High Commission of Malaysia. The processed was quite straight forward, is just that Miku and I need to take photo ID and the difficult part was the background need to be dark blue. We were hunting for photo ID booth but the background was white. And we went to photo stall at AMK, but the background was light blue. One of the shop charges us $12 for a set of 4 which we think is too expensive. Finally we end up with $10 for set of 8 pieces, in which we think back now is a bit too much for us. Nevermind, we can save it for later.

Now we are officially married in Malaysia!

I was analyzing the traffic of my blog recently and found out that Google search results of “Fables Bridal” do bring some readers here.

Ok, that’s makes me wanting to share more about the bridal package that I got from this bridal studio. Bear in mind, whatever I will write is based on my own opinion and it may not be real to you if you had not sign with them. Do give them a benefit of doubt and truly, Fables Bridal had done a brilliant job for us.

Brilliant! She is patient, kind, warmth, approachable and she had plentiful of information towards wedding! Bad news, she had quit her job T.T

Make-up Artist
Nice! She is good in make-up and hairstyling. She is very experience and fast. One shortcoming, she won’t entertain if we, the bride bring our own fake eye lashes or ampoules. Guess better bought it from her; it is your wedding and makes it perfect!

Photographers
Why with the “s”? Yes we had two for different outdoor and indoor shots. They took great photos!

Conclusion

I will refer my friends to this bridal studio. Their gowns, make-up and photo are nice. But down turn is, since the consultant had quit, I will ask my friend to survey their competitors too. I mean besides looking for great gowns, photos and make-up, I am also looking for good services. Even it is in Ringgit, taking up a bridal package is a huge expense for a wedding though. They are moments when I do encounter unsatisfactory service from the studio but it is definitely because my consultant was not around. When she is around, everything is brilliant!

It seems that I am really neglecting this blog as my life goes on. I don’t know why. Do I feel 24x7 is not enough? Not really, it just that sometimes the urge to blog is there but the physical movement is not there.

I am part of the handicraft team for our upcoming carnival. I am appointed to be responsible for making photo frames. Squeezing my time and ideas now. It may seem easy yet hard yet simple.

Turning back to this blog, I really do and wish I can manage it well as a wedding blog for all BTB out there…ohh I think I failed max, sorry but I will keep the pace of updating regarding my journey as a bride hahahha… seems like a tough job.

I still missing the planning and sourcing part where it takes my all enthusiasm on the process of wedding/married.

The wedding event may not goes as smoothly as what we had planned, but overall, it is still an amazing experience where you recite the vows that now bind us together =D

Shiseido was launching a new lipstick, and they sent me brochure to collect a free sample. So last week after work, together with honeypot (actually he reluctant to accompany me but I manage to force him) I went to Taka to collect the free sample…

Sugix is going to be our videographer on the actual day btw… so last Saturday, we were testing out the video camera and honeypot was showing him how to operate it.

We were shooting something for our photo montage and here you can see both of them seriously examine on the quality. I on the other hand was supposed to be the actress, so manage take picture of them.

Photographer is essential to wedding ceremony. It is a key person to capture this beautiful moments.

We do encounter photographer issue. The question, who we can ask to be one.

In our church, we had ~~few~~ plenty friends that owning DSLR camera, and they took great picture...but to request them to become one, is, thus, a bit phai seh..

I was from the start, want to engage photograher that having a package of 4 hours solemnization photography. In which is more than enough for my wedding ceremony. They were offering like $350 to $450 for the 4 hours. Some offered to give us the link to the hosted website so that family and friends can view and other also offered to touch up some good photos. Other freebies were thrown inside and their photo also look great in my eye.

But honeypot reluctant to engage one and then agree to it and then reject again. I also do not know how the outcome will be... trust me, so we just leave it aside and we come to that later hahhaha... procastination...

So we until last week, we had not engage to any photographer and our wedding was 4 weeks to go...

I think God timing is indeed perfect timing. When honeypot deliver our invitation to his ex-col, the ex-col, called her SE was excitingly asking honeypot whether she can become our photographer... hahahha we were more than happy and thankful that she wants to help us. So photograher no.1 FOUND!

Our target was 2 photographers by the way =D

And last week service, honeypot again, approach Good2think. And he agreed to be our photographer =D

So here we are, we settled the photographer issue...YEAH

All FOUND!!

3 Weeks to go

The wedding is about 3 weeks to take off. I am nervous and excited to become Mrs. Chai =D

As you know, my DIY wedding was indeed a DIY wedding, what am I saying??? Ok, I will list down what are the things I had DIY so far and silly me, I never took proper documentation to it…

When I list out like that, it seems so little I have done, I should have do more T.T

But if I looked on one by one how I actually made it, it was killing off my times. Take example the love petal. It was indeed a good idea and they tossed nicely but I spent entire two weeks to get it done. For wedding booklet, it was 80% done, left one more portion and it will be well done. But I spent entirely 4 weeks to get it done and until now, not done. Another thing, the bridesmaid’s belt, again I was like researching and finding ideas on how to make one, my sewing skill is unacceptable, by the way. Now it is 50% done and a little bit more it will be well done.

Again, I keep ensuring myself that, the wedding is not about how the venue will look, how your DIY will be presented but it is about the exact meaning about the wedding itself. It is about your marriage life after the wedding. It is your vow to each other and how you commit to each other life.

So I have lots of things that I need to get done and I still take my own sweet time to prepare it.

Just to remind myself, I have to:
Buy a wedding bouquet and groom pinned corsage.
Prepare wedding songs, photo montages, MC Speeches, etc to Had
Chasing RSVP
Receptionist briefing
Wedding heels (Oh my, can I wear sandals?)
Rose petals as carpet
Etc etc etc

We are getting there for SURE by GOD GRACE, AMEN

Men and Women Decoded

Last Sunday, together with honeypot, I went to Adult service at 11.45am. We were attending the service with the theme Men and Women decoded. Indeed it was a very good service on how we can learn more about Jesus, the real man, the Son of God.

Part 1, was giving us the picture who is a real man or the characteristic of a real man. We were shown a skit about two different type of man, one being a macho man and another, a metro man. Then there were few facts made by women about men. I can remember 2 out of the few facts, share with you:

Why do men love smart woman?
Answer: Opposite attracts

Why there is a replay every time a goal was made in a football game?
Answer: Becoz men cannot remember what had happen 3 seconds ago.

We, women were like laugh out loud and I find it is kinda true hehe…

Fables Bridal Studio, JB

Would like to share the process of choosing our bridal studio.

First thought of bridal studio in my mind was $$$ =D. Typical diarydrops mindset. How much we are willing to spend and what is our expectation.

Honeypot's mum was wanting us to use Jakarta bridal studio at first, but thinking about the hassle to fly to JKT, and of course the cost that comes with it, I was not able to agree to her choice.

We were also looking some bridal studio in SG through wedding fair, but still it does not captivate my heart to go for one. So conclussion, we were not really into pre-wed for our wedding at the first place hahhaha...

Until one day, during Honeypot's dad birthday, we went to JB paying him a visit and while waiting for him to pick us from CitySquare (CS), we bumped into bridal studios. They are several studios in CS, and we were about to sign with print-temp already. They were, offering us very very attractive perks and we were buying it hahhaa.. till honeypot had his sense to come back thinking, it is still too early to sign one =D

So, feeling quite sad to let us go, they gave us their business card. I put into my wallet and we walked away. Met up with Honeypot's dad and his cousin brother. When I was about to pay for something in the supermart, his cousin brother, let's call him KoKo, spotted the business card in my wallet and asked are we looking for bridal studio?? And we said yes and he recommended us fews of his pals' studios. And one of them is Fables =D

So, after three weeks of the incident, we were ready to survey bridal studios again in JB. This time round, we directly went to Kota Sentosa area where most of the bridal studios located in this area. There were Venus, SG bridal Studio and some others including Fables. We survey the first one, Elegance bridal studio, but their price and product was not up to our expectation. They do captured good outdoor photography though...

When we step in to Fables, we had Pris, our consultant ready to serve us. She showed us the photos, packages, gowns, albums, potraits etc. We were mainly negotiate the package price and the whole discussion was lasted for 2 hours. I was totally amazed by the way Pris serve us. She is a very patient lady coz we were quite a demanding client. Me, a cost concern girl, trying to get more perks in the package.. my motto is pay less for more =D. And honeypot, a quality minded guy, keep wanting and ensure what he wants for the result, which is, not too much photoshop and keep it light and simple =D

Our package, can't spelled out each items but briefly will do. We were given 7 outfits for photo-shooting. A different set of 1 Wedding gown and 2 evening gown for actual day. 2 out of the 7 of photo-shooting is for outdoor shooting.

E-filling

Last last Friday, I do the e-filling at ROM Website, quite nervous though. I was worrying that the details I punched in were incorrect and will makes the application being rejected and there was clause stated that we can't give wrong information, or else we got fined, so you see, I make sure every information being entered is true...

Silly me, we should enter correct info hahaha...

The process of e-filling is quite long and need secure connection coz payment involve and you will need to have stable Internet connection as it will link to the payment portal etc.

Guess what, after I do e-filling, 30 minutes the Internet was down... I was like.... Thanks God, You are awesome God!!

Yesterday was a hectic day for me! Not because of my job, but by buying air tickets…

Opened my Gmail morning usual and saw a Jetstar e-mail:

Quickly I ring my sis, msn Honeypot, sms Aunt Cath and phone honeypot’s dad. Summary: Thanks God for creating women with multi-task skill.

And soon, confirm every flight to purchase and do all the reservation.

Why I am so rushing??

It is for our wedding in Indonesia on 2nd October. Did I mention to you already?

Yes, family, relatives and good friend who lives outside JKT want to join the wedding party and we can't budget out how much to spend for air tickets alone…

Crucial parts, for li’lbet alone I need to buy two return flight. Li’lbet will need to fly KCH – SIN – JKT – SIN – KCH.

Thanks to Jetstar 48-hour sales though, we manage to book flight at cheaper cost. Although is not all the flight able to go through Jetstar, we are being blessed already…

Now I discover, I shouldn’t received this kind of mail frequently as it will really stressed me up! Or maybe no more wedding planning for me anymore >.<

As a shopper, I never really tried on shopping on the Internet before. Except for air tickets and hotels deal.

Last week, an e-mail advert from CozyCot draw my eyes to "$38 for $100 Worth of 2-Hour Classic Princess Manicure and Pedicure with Free French Glitter Tip at Wen Luxe Spa"

Clicked on it, it was a spree to purchase. I was thinking about it for a day and soon decided to purchase the spree. Afterall I need nice meni and pedi for the big day.

Made an appointment with them, hope I can get good services and nice nails otherwise, promised myself not to do Internet shopping anymore >.<

Another thing, my coordinator, is having her holiday now.. Can’t contact her T.T few update wants to discuss with her so collate it so that by the time she comes back, we can have full discussion.

Another thing that are ready, of course is our invitation card!!! YAY!!

We distribute it to church friend last Saturday…

We are in the midst of distributing the invitation to friends that we are inviting. You can see now and then, every night after work I will have meeting with friends to pass the invitation, is quite tiring but tell you it worth the time, as we can share and catch up with one another.

A Customary Indeed

A friend of mine said she is not coming to my wedding solemnization. Surprise with it, I ask her the reason. It is because she will be having her wedding also on December so it is kind of a wedding taboo that she cannot visit any wedding ceremony within 3-month before and after the wedding day. With this, I also can’t attend her wedding coz she says is not 3-month over from my wedding day yet.

Frankly writing, I feel a bit sad. This friend of mine, is my new found friend where happens that we are, thus, in an open mind sharing about our wedding plans together. We always exchange tips and share every detail of our wedding plans. We went to a wedding fair together and tasted delicious cake from Pines Garden. We joked and gave each other ideas and advice like where to buy this and that and exchanging info for the bridal studio etc.

I am actually fine and respect her decision but a logic minded girl like me, feel quite unsatisfied for the issue called “wedding taboo”.

So googled out wedding taboo and this website really amazed me XD. My oh my, some of the things I find it ~~ridiculous~~, ok, I shouldn’t type that. If you read the item no.4; where a matchmaker or bestman of the groom should give AngPao to neutralize the effect of the clash. What is the effect of the clash we are talking about? Isn’t it good is just greet another party and congrats them. Why money need to involve in this scenario?

Ok, we can’t comment much on customary especially Chinese customary. Just want to highlight that the era has change and we can’t predict much of the world. Live a life to the fullest and enjoy in every moments that you have.

To my friend, I am really happy that finally, we are seeing ourselves in a different track of life. You are indeed a blessing to me and I enjoy every moment that we had shared in discussing our wedding plans together. May you have a great wedding ahead and I wish you and your future husband a happy marriage life.

A new switch

I am in the mist of turning my lovely blog into a wedding blog. Yes I know it is a bit too late as my wedding is less than two months.

Objective/reason of this decision:

** I will be having a DIY wedding so I thought how good if I can share few tips to bride-to-be about the wedding preparation I had experience

** It is easier for me to maintain one blog rather than another separate blog

The wedding booklet

Finally, finish designing the booklet cover picture. Yes yes we were struggling between ideas, time, effort to make the booklet as what we expected.

I tried different way to design the wedding booklet picture:

1. Using website tools design
2. Using Adobe photoshop
3. Scribble on paper at home
4. Scribble on my notebook in the bus -.-"

and at last, the Microsoft Word helps me better off the 4 ways above.. even photoshop lost its effort to help me T.T

Using MS Word to design??? Hehe may sound a bit weird for designer but a-no-expert-like-me finds it usefull!

The album design

Blessed Monday!

FB was full with the Spain winning over the WC. Ok, congrats to Spain!

Yesterday we went to JB to see our bridal pictures design before printing it to the bridal album. Good job to the designer, overall, we are satisfied with the design.

Although we tought that initial, we only need to see and comments bout the picture design, suprisingly, we end up making more decision on our bridal package.

We need to choose lots of things:
1. The leather cover design for our album
2. The frame wood and design for our big frame
3. The Poster Photo
4. The extra 20 photo for soft copy
5. The 10 poses to print on 4R to be given to relatives and friends
6. The extra 20 4R hard copy photo

Although it seems simple but choosing the photo part is the most hardest thing we need to do, you know all photo looks nice in our eyes hahahha...

Anyway, manage to bring back the 20pcs 4R hard copy photos, and those photos are the last batch from our elimination process. Those nicer pic will be on soft copy for us. We have in total 70 copies of soft copy photos.

Honeypot dad was wanting to buy all 300pcs of 4R hard copies photo for us to keep as a rememberence but it turns out to cost about RM800. We can't agree on the price so we turn it down.

Next up we went shopping at JB CitySquare. We are shopping for our wedding by the way =D

Then at night, with lil'bet around, we finish up the first phase of our "wedding booklet". In total we made 118 wedding booklet. Some of our guest may not receive it but hope they can share among them =D

Ok that's all, got to attend another meeting...chao!

DIY - The flower petal

Yes, the flower petal for tossing after "I Do" is ready. I made (actually my mum and honeypot did help a bit) a small basket almost full and again, sorry, no picture to proof.

I blog during my lunch time and my DIY stuff is at home hahahha so sometimes the idea to blog came right after I had my lunch. Will update with picture to kill your curiousity k.

Next up is my angpow box and the wedding booklet. Had some rough ideas in my mind on how to design it and of course before that, the budget hahhaha..

I was wondering do we really need wedding booklet for our guest on Actual Day? hmm.. second thought of it, is good to have (just as honeypot says). Let's see, what should we put in our wedding booklet?

From what I had thought are:
1. Special Notes from Honeypot and Me
2. Our love journey (**shy**)
3. Program Flow
4. P & W Lyrics
5. Reception Menu

I may not put all in coz more printing to be done hhahhaa which means more budget to calculate, but is not about the budget actually but will it get wasted and harm our lovely earth? Afterall, wedding booklet is made of papers and more trees will be cut :p

Anyway, update you again when I finalise my wedding booklet =D

The new blog skin

Hi hi, yes I have change my blog skin again. I just knew that there is new blog theme design offered by blogspot and they have the wedding theme so let just make use of it =D

Oh finally we got our praise songs selected. Worship song coming up as we already have in mind, it just that we still unsure about the title.

Over the weeks, I kept hummin' and hummin' praise and worship songs that will most describe the wedding. My head nearly exploded with various tunes, words, lyrics, tone and I kept ne, ne, ne, ne, ne... and last nite, I ne, ne, ne, ne very very very long untill honeypot laugh out loud (lol) coz I sounds like a baby that unable to pronouns correct words.

Thanks God and finally I got the songs =D

I named it "The Timeless Green" wedding = Is the love of two people that will last ever green and forever.

Oh my, is not that ok!

Yeah we love trees and grass and our wedding venue is partially garden lawn, but as chinese, I do love red to represent the wedding. It will be a unity of Red, White and Green for the leaves. Hmm.. I am keen with pink too maybe there will be a bit of pink hehhehe.. anyway, will leave it to the decorator to match =D

Oh ya, lil'bet will be in Singapore for mid-break holiday. If you wonder who is lil'bet, she is my younger sister :p

Me and honeypot are quite confused now, who to ask to be our wedding committee.

We may be a bit egoistic to choose as; if you need somebody to help you on a big day like that, it's by their voluntary and willing heart. It is definitely not by forced or by paid with cash.

Good things about the few people we selected at first are more than willing to help us and we can see that they directly say yes without obligation. Thumbs up for their hearts and willingness to help us and show us what are friendship for. Of course I truely believe that Jesus is in their hearts and with this, it is really a blessing to me and honeypot.

Just to share who are those people, first is my wedding coordinator, Ai. Then my bridesmaid Mey and Erl, our usher head KL, Had for the MM and Erw TJ for the sound. You guys are awesome, and thus, we really appreciate your willingness and trust that everything will work fine under your care.

To Jon, Hen E and Yan as well that willing to be our exhortation, and MCs even we are now plan to switch the roles due to several issues hehehhe... more like to accommodate everyone convenient that's why there is a change.

Now, also want to affirm Mel Chong that willing to be our pianist and goodtothink to be our guitarist hahaha you can see that we have not found our P&W leader but thanks God we've found our musicians.

Some roles are not fill in yet coz sometimes, to approach and ask our friend to join as committee is a bit awkward or we call is "phai sehh..."

We know that some people have the talents in executing the roles that we need but again... some of them are hard to approach =D

Anyway, as the bible says, Trust God in every situation, good and bad =D

DIY pen and paper flower petal

By the time I want to post this, I forget to snap any picture for better visualization for the reader.

Lets see, I have attended my friend wedding last Sunday, it was a wedding lunch. Soon after I got home, I was tired enough and ready to sleep. But again, something makes me nervous and skip my nap time T.T

Yes, its my own wedding day is coming and how I still have not done much and with that, inspired me something.

So I go to my small basket that I stored all my DIY thingie for the wedding. I already reserve 5 Pilot Ink pens earlier for my guest to sign our guest book. So I decorate the pen with flower and red ribbons and use hot gun glue to glue them up and ta daaa... I have finish decorating the pen. Again sorry for lack of picture to show u T.T

And last night, I was thinking of something again... the flower petals for tossing during rescessional session. If I spell it wrongly or maybe you do not understand what is mean by recessional, it is when the pastor/solemnizer proclaim the bride and groom as husband and wife, they will walk away to the door. Ok this part is called recessional... explain already, hope you understand. And when the the bride and groom come in again, and the pastor/solemnizer says "Welcome Mr. and Mrs XXXXX", this session is called re-entry.

Since my venue Hort-Park restict us in using real flower petals, coz it will stain the floor (it's true). So I zip and zap makes my own flower petals from papers. Ohh I can't wait to go home and continue with the paper flower petals.

Things getting exited and I already have in mind on how to design my own envelope for the invitation card =D

The "Save-The-Date" picture will release soonest next week and it is design by my own (with honeypot guidance, even he just need to say "approved" or "not approved") and free software http://www.picnik.com/ and it is using one of our very own wedding picture.

I looked at my phone "Days until" application, left 11 weeks more to go for the BIG day! Lots of things not being done. I am not ready, at this time hahaha maybe I am ready when the time come.

Tell you the truth, I am a D-I-Y bride-to-be. I am now tensed up whether my DIY thingie will works well or not. Lots of things, I made and plan my own. Including our invitation cards, decoration of venue, program flows, etc and honeypot was saying, if all the btb DIY things likes me, many wedding vendors will closed for business.

I feel the excitement in planning all this things, but sometimes I was so over it and I missed out the real meaning of a wedding, is not only the actual day we concern, but the life after the wedding day.

My Save-The-Date picture is coming soon on the second week of July, and yes for the first time, diarydrops will post about her wedding details =D

Recently, I learned a lot about a network hardware call "Switch".
I personally do not want to know more about this thing, but nature speaks that I need to learn more about it.

Stories goes when honeypot shared to me bout his new job. And he asked a sudden question of:

Do you know what is the different of a switch and a hub?

Simple answer from me was both are for network use...

A technical guy like honeypot won't satisfy with that answer hahhaa... ok here is honeypot explaination:

where as hub is blablablablablablablablablablablablablablablablablablabla....
so....

switch is cleverer than hub. ***This is what I got -.-" ***

If you read the blablabla part, yes, you are right, I don't know what is he talking about hahahha.. conclusion, yes, switch and hub are different ok.

And today, my boss, sitting down and tell me so much more about switches. There are few types of switches, Cheap 10/100 switch, Switch with Control Management, Switch with Control Management and User Access List, etc

He did explain one by one and the differences of all but...

Started my routine day waiting at the bus stop, that's when my eyes are fully operated.

Ohh..ohh its Monday again, time to work and think and stress and be political. What political gotta do with Monday, dunno, happens that word came across my mind like a rocket, now it flew off.

It seems like if we never had Monday, then we never had Tuesday, Wednesday and so on, haha coz those days came after Monday goes. This morning, this song keeps playing in my head, "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it". Even until now, ohh my, it still keep playing in my mind =)

Btw, I won't blog about my job anymore, I came to realize that this blog is so visible, it can be seen by "www", which stands for World wide web" which means, whoever had Internet connection, including my colleague, client, bosses can view what I post here. And I didn’t specify any disclaimer some more, ok, will get it up later.

But reading through my blog the other day, I found that most of my entries are related to my job, which is more interesting to talk about. I am not a full time blogger, who can get sponsor, advertisement on my blog, and I got extra $$ to earn. And, my writing is not up to standard yet. But again, will try my best to blog about my life, my daily drops and something that is interesting from me apart from my job.

Update on my “W” event:
I had fitting for our upcoming photo shoot. Went to JB with honeypot and mommy yesterday. Quite satisfied with the gowns. We met an Indonesian couple yesterday who came all the way from Batam to JB to capture their happy moments. Again, make you guess what is “W” event, but I think you all should knew it by now, it is an open secret now.

It is Monday afternoon after lunch and I am feeling a bit blued, maybe due to Monday Blue. Hey Monday Blue, it's ALL your fault.

Ok, I never really announce at my blog but I am 8 days officially a sales executive. Yes, but not to worry, I never resign nor change company, I was just transferred from my ex dept to current dept. But still, this morning, have to do patching #@^%$^$@ from support work.

Now what get my nerves and worries is how to bring in sales to my errmm...living, life and family. These three things are the things that bothers and worries me as an adult, a working adult, a good looking yet smart and yet hardworking working adult. ~~(Yes I am quite narcis)~~ Duh... I need to speed up and brush up my skill so that soon, I have no worries at ALL.

It's impossible, ya I know, but with innocent thingking, I want to make it possible. Maybe in this stage, you don't even understand what I am trying to write here. Nevermind, I am typing words that I think and I understand so if you are not clear, your inconvenient are deeply regretted.

It's been two week my honeypot had a dillemmas. Yes, new vocab today, "dillemmas"

He's been wanting to wear Crocs shoes after he tried on hryono's on the first day of Chinese New Year. Oh my, then the dillemmas cames straight after that. He then went to search for Crocs discount and review and etc. Everyday after that day, all he think is Crocs and imagine himself wearing Crocs -.-"

Me, as a helpful gf, keep telling him that Crocs is expensive and the design is ~~ugly~~ not-so-nice. But he still fall to the Crocs' trap so much and deep -.-" Wonder what are Crocs selling strategies. Why honeypot is in dilemmasss... give me back my honeypottt... and Crocs will says Nah, give u back, don't loose it again yaa... and I do japanese bow to Crocs as a sign of thanks. Yes, you are right, I am imaginative little cute girl *wink -wink*

Then honeypot found out that in AMK, there is a shop having discount and only sell for $25. But the colour are all not-so-nice striking colour. You know what I mean, Red, Green, Yellow, all in striking mode.

And bad thing is, he wants to buy it right away, ohh nooo....

Fiuh....rescuer comes in the right time. Good thing he brought me along, so I manage to pursuade him not to BUY. My trick was keep telling him "I don't want, I don't want, I don't want u to wear such an u*ly colour" and I made my feet stumbling on the floor like a gollira... grrrroooaaarr....aaauuuooooiiiiooo......

Ermm.. please don't believe whatever I type above, is again, imaginative but the point I manage to pursuade him not to buy is true.

He feels sad after that. It is like he wants an ice-cream but I never buy for him hahha... btw, he don't like ice-cream but I like it. Because I like it that's why I am using ice-cream as my example.

So yesterday, he manage to get his Crocs shoes, as he picked his Mum in the Airport, yes Changi airport currently having Crocs sale. But I don't know when it ends.

Honeypot really care for me a lot (<3 honeypot), even I don't like to wear or I never wear Crocs, coz I don't like the design, nevertheless, he bought a pair of Crocs sandal for me and the design is ~~not-so-bad~~ nice.

Now I can JUMP and FLY with my new Crocs!!!

Ok, in reality, I cannot fly and I can jump anytime I want even without the crocs.

This is how my crocs sandal looks like, but my crocs is in black and grey colour.

Thank You Honeypot, but I will pay you back the money for buying me Crocs.

And when he and his mum got home, his mum and my mum (yes, double mum) ask him how much was the crocs. and after he reveal the price, guees what... they were shocked hahaha.... and keep telling him that he can get 10 crocs with different colours that he named it in Indo.

Where to dine?

Sometimes going out with honeypot, we do not know where to have our dinner. Like last night, we met at the national library @ Bugis, after discussing while walking on where to dine, made up our mind to go to Raffles City's foodcourt. So we walk there.

Half way through, honeypot said he want to eat at Funan. So I agree, afterall, we are eating at foodcourt. Then he said he don't want anymore. So we stick to the plan.

And half way through again hahhaha... we made up our mind to dine at Kopitiam @ Plasa Sing because we got the Kopitiam discount card. So we make a turn and walk towards Plasa Sing.

Along the way, we still giving each other input on where to dine, like I told him about the Japanese food court and the 99cents Sushi @ Cathay and etc which is just around the corner.

But still, can't beat the kopitiam discount card hahahaha... yeah we are saving our hard earn income for something and I will make you guess what is that something then =)

So in the end, dine at Kopitiam Plasa Sing. Sometimes, we just find it so hard to made up our mind for dinner.

In November'09, booked ticket to Hong Kong, courtesy to Jetstar e-mail promo. And I booked the flight few hours before my trip to Jakarta -.-"

Soon, was excited for this Hong Kong trip, it will be a 6 Days, 5 Nights trip, the flight timing is a bit crazy though. Arrive Hong Kong at 19.25 and leave from Macau to Sin at 02.30 a.m. Well, we don't mind the timing if the price is cheap hahahahhahaha.... SGD190 on return flight, good bargain =)

I made lots of sweatty research about this trip, pity my boss, I spend most time researching at office, but hey I finish my stuff then I research okay :p

Basically will visit Disneyland, Ocean Park, The Peak bla bla bla...and Venetian at Macau.

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait for Wednesday to come

Hi hi, finally the venue for my biggest project everrr in my whole life is confirmed. Fiuh... I am rubbing all my sweat rite now, believe it haha...

Can't tell you yet where it will be, only disclosing it to several people rite now haha, coz I haven't pay for the venue :p

Next up will be the caterer, decorator, invi cards, gift and etc

Anyway, still many months to go, so I can just take my own sweet time =)

Sorry for not updating recently, been busy planning for something haha. Guess what, I met Oliv yesterdayyyy.... oh been too long not meeting her, we met coincidentally, ohh there's ain't such meaning as coincident, it is God's plan =)

I am disappointed lately, I feel bad, I feel unloved, I feel unhumble huh.. hate those feeling, please go away ASAP

Talking bout the word "ASAP" which stand for As Soon As Possible, remembered when I was in college time, I have a male friend, forgot his name, so call him "T". I remember his name now but don't want to tell. "T" is a very bright student and he wanted to have everything fast. One day, the lecturer was asking are we ready for a small test. While everybody says.. "Nooooooo, we are not ready", "T" says "Yes, as soon as possible please". Because of his statement, we were so mad with him haha, so we gave him nickname, "asap". Very funny, when we saw him around the corner, we were whispering to each other " asap lai liao, asap lai liao, cing cing" which stands for "asap is here x2, be quiet". We really had no idea that currently, ASAP word is widely known in business communication. What a coincident... oppss....nothing is coincident, refer above pls.

Anyway, today is Friday, meeting honeypot later, weekend dating day =D

Hi hi, update on my KL Business Trip!

If you asked me, how is your trip? My answer to you in 5 words....

TIRED

Hahahaha.. I know why I am so tired during this 2 days 1 night trip to KL... the LAPTOP that I am carrying all around... its so heavy, halfway carrying it, I feel like throwing it away :p

This is my first visit to this mall. I feel it is a bit like SG's Takashimaya, all it sell are branded stuff. Food is rather expensive in the food court. Oh the food court is Food Republic so yeah, a bit expensive. Prepare RM10 ++ for a complete meal inside the food court.

Weekend at JB

Yes, the weekend that just ended yesterday, I spent it in JB with honeypot. The Sunday was his father's birthday so we thought we should go back and visit him and celebrate his birthday with him.

So on Saturday, about 11.00 am, me and honeypot travelled to JB. Upon checking out in JB custom, we met Jlia and Deni. Deni was my junior mate in high school and Jlia was honeypot's college mate. Haven't mate Deni for ages and we do share some info with each other and etc. Should have take picture together to show you but hmm.. you know, always forgot that I have blog need to update haha...

Reached City Square (CS) then we phoned honeypot's dad and found out that his car broke down so he says he needs to go to mechanic shop to fix it. So we just round around CS do nothing. Ate our lunch and went to Popular to buy some stationery and we passed by a wedding studio.

Then I asked honeypot, why don't we take this time explore and survey the price of a wedding package. And to my suprise he said ok, lets do it. Ho ho !

So we went to two wedding studios and asked the prices and the packages available. I like the service of the second studio, and they were quite informative and helpful to us. But there is a wedding fair coming to CS and honeypot's cousin said he wants to introduce more studios to us so we haven't decide about the wedding studios. I think we should not sign yet haha because we ourself also not sure when we will get married hahahha...

Anyway, going back to JB makes me remind that last time, honeypot used to work in KL and I work in SG, so we met every two weeks on weekend like this. And now honeypot already work in SG, so what I wanted to say here is treasure every moments with your love one always =)

I think next update will be about this JB trip also because we had lots of experience from this trip.

Now gtg because my works calling meeee T.T

Starhub Green

Hi hi,

Yes yes my last update was on 2nd November, haha, last week a bit negleting this blog.

Let's see... *knocking my finger on the desk*

If you ever know, Starhub Green is located somewhere in Ubi, it is near my office. So most of my collegues went there to have their lunch in the new canteen. They always invited me to go there to have lunch as they says the place is much more cooling (got aircon), much more choices in term of the food and got seven11. Haha.. but for the past few weeks, I always reject their offer. Yeah, not because I don't want to, it just that mostly on the day they went to Starhub Green, I got something on in the afternoon and I need to settle some tasks so I can't go far for lunch. Yeah, eventhough Starhub green is near my office but travelling there, it quite some distance. But luckily, my collegue drive =)

And yesterday, they invited me again. Ok, this time round I said yes, so I travelled over to Starhub Green. The foodcourt ambience is good, and there is garden besides it. And food is nice and there is discount if you show the foodcourt's discount card. Every food paid by showing the discount card having discount of 20cents. Not bad, yesterday I ate the chicken ramen, after discount is $2.80, still comparable price to the my usual canteen downstair or kopitiam next door.

But I don't want to go there anymore hahhaa... I think is quite far and I am not that picky in term of food. If you ever drop by to Starhub Green, don't forget to drop by to their foodcourt, it is quite interesting =)

Besides the foodcourt, Starhub Green also got child care, medical centre, seven11, nets station and various banks' atm machines.

Blog Banner

I don't have blog banner. I know. This is what my blog lacks off. And another thing that I dont have is the chat box which z3r0c0d3 ever told me that. But the html or whatever to input the chat box is so complicated and I gave up halfway installing the chat box. Maybe one fine day I should try input the chat box again. But now the concern is more to the blog banner that can make my blog more me.

When I am at work, I kept telling myself that tonight afterwork, I will get the blog banner done. But everyday after work when I went home, sitting infront of my computer, I never think about the blog banner anymore. I ends up watching stearming movie or chatting with MSN or read manga, never thought of the blog banner again.

Poor blog banner, your owner is too lazy to think about you.

Another update is above Had, my cg mate. He had FB finally. I had added him as a friend but he haven't approve it yet. I says finally coz ~~finally~~ he, an IT guy, have his own FB haha...ok lame joke :p

Blur Day

Ok, weekend ends yesterday. Today is Monday again.

When I called my client up this morning, she pronouns to me that today is Blur day. Monday is Blur day haha... I also think so. I have lots of thing to do but don't know where to start =p

Every monday, the canteen below will sell vegetarian Ba kut Teh for lunch. So I just had the vegetarian Ba kut Teh for lunch. Actually every Monday, for the past two years, I will surely order Vegetarian Ba Kut Teh for lunch.

The ingredients in this meal were all vegetarian related stuff. Too bad didn't captured the picture, but trust me it is not that interesting nor make you mouth watering when you saw how the dish presented. But the taste is good =)

The ingredients are green salad vege, toufu, tou kan (toufu skin), tomatoes, black edges big mushroom, niu rou (a kind of meat but it is not meat at all, made from mee ken), wan shui and ba kut teh soup and it comes with white rice.

Out of the ingredient above, I only take green salad vege, toufu and tou kan. The rest I don't take. So all along, when I purchase the food, I told the seller:

"Ba kut teh one pls, I don't want tomatoes, mushroom, niu rou, wan shui."

But when they served me, it surely come with either one of the above. -.-"

It goes for a few weeks up to months and up to years.

So today, took a li'l bit of courage, I told the seller in a full loud voice.

"Ba kut teh one pls, I only want green vege, toufu and tou kan only. Don't want wan shui, mushroom and totamoes."

Yes, I repeated the "Only" twice to the seller.. broken English haha..

And when they served me, taaa daaa.. its exactly what I want.

Hahhaha.. finally, now I know how to order

My last trip to Indo this year was in March, during my birthday month. I went back to khuntien and Jakarta. Met my relative and honeypot's family. And before we came back to Singapore, his mum gave us one parcel. It is actually a souvenier to give to Aunt Cath. Aunt Cath live in Singapore and she is honeypot's mum's friend. In short is Aunt Cath is honeypot's aunt haha..

And guess what, tonight, we are going to have dinner with Aunt Cath and give the parcel to her. And yes, since March untill now then we remembered her and the parcel.

Don't blame me, the parcel sits in honeypot's room untill last week when I spotted it again and then I remember. So blame honeypot k.

By the way speaking of honeypot, his website is up and he made up his mind to go green =)

Caregroup time

Yesterday we had our weekly caregroup time. This time round, I was the worship leader and Erl was the praise leader. Indeed really thanks God for Erl's courage to lead us in praise as I know, she was a bit nervous but overal she manage to control the situation. Maybe this is what we call the co-operation among brothers and sisters. As long as we understand each others need, surely we can achieve the good result.

I am very glad to meet Sus again because she just came back from Indo and join us again. Oh now, while typing this I think of Hans and Mey that couldn't be with us here in Singapore but I believe God had more beautiful plan for them.

During worship time, I think this time round is where I was really sensitive enough to sense the presence of the Lord in our mist. Words had been spoken and I believe we were being edified through the words given.

It was spoken from Job 1:21. Jor shared that we need to persevere, stand firm and believe in God's decision for us. Amazing, I feel that my whole soul was being refresh.

The song that I choose were How great is our God and Give thanks. During rehealsal time, I sang those song in slow tempo, but yesterday Fong said it should be sang in faster tempo. I am not a very good singer, when the guitar was played, I don't recognise the opening tune to brag in the song hahha.. so here I really give thanks to brothers and sisters for helping me with during wordship time. Especially to Fong, the guitar, Jor, who help me with the tune and Erl that stand beside me while worship time and all beloved brothers and sisters.

Its time to brush up my singing skill and I hope I can do more with it.

(I just want to create public awareness k, nothing to do with Singapore Red cross Society, I mean I don't work for them nor have any connection with them)

Why donate blood?

Blood is needed during bone marrow transplants for leukaemia patients, for thalasemia patients needing regular blood transfusions, during daily surgeries and for accident victims. This is only a short list of its uses. For Singapore herself, need an average of 350 units of blood daily.

I heard that in order to donate blood, one of the criteria is you need to be in Singapore for at least the past three months. In this case, I am qualified, hmm... can consider to donate my blood. My last trip, as far as I can remember was the Penang trip last July, now is October so should be fine. For honeypot, he cannot, because last month he went to JB. But I don't know whether this criteria is true or not, forgive me if it is wrong info.
